Warm weather has arrived, and there couldn’t be a better time to celebrate these four fantastic students from Cape Henlopen School District, pictured here on the last day of their internships at Under Armour in Rehoboth Beach, where they learned the ins and outs of retail and helped customers get outfitted for all their spring sporting endeavors!
These four made a big impact at the store over the weeks of their internship, and they learned a ton along the way. They started in the stockroom, helping process merchandise by tagging items with security sensors, folding clothing, and (at the end) helping hang all merchandise items to assist with prepping the store for its inventory counts. They also got some valuable sales floor experience, re-shelving and re-hanging items left in the dressing rooms. And to cap off a fantastic experience at Under Armour, the interns got to shadow at the cash register the last week of their internship, getting direct interactions with customers and helping to bag items.
We are enormously grateful to our partners at Cape Henlopen High School and the Cape Henlopen School District, and the employees of Under Armour in Rehoboth Beach for teaming up with CIS and for their support and mentorship of these interns. A big shoutout too to CIS’s own Erin Velott, who provided great support to these interns and sent along these joyful pictures from the final day of their internship! Congrats, guys—we can’t wait to see what you do next!
