Click that “like” button for Troy, who kicks off our celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month. We’re spotlighting his position at the Miller Theater, part of the Kimmel Cultural Campus in Center City Philadelphia.

Troy was hired at the start of September, and joins the hospitality team at Kimmel at an exciting time: the fall theater season is kicking into full gear, meaning lots of work opportunities for Troy in a fun and fast-paced job.

He cut a fine figure on a recent night at the theater, wearing black slacks and a black button up with white trim as he welcomed guests to the Miller. His managers praised him for jumping right into the position, and for taking so swiftly to his tasks. He’s only been at the theater for a month, but he already loves the rush and bustle of the job, and the role he plays getting guests settled in for a great night out.

Join us in congratulating Troy, and keep an eye on our page throughout #NDEAM. We’ll be celebrating our participants and partnering businesses, and shining a light on why access and inclusion for people with disabilities are vital to an equitable workplace.
