We had a blast at Networks for Training & Development’s Annual Planning Luncheon, held this year at the lovely Independence Visitor Center.
It was a day of conversation, community, and renewed commitment to making our communities and workplaces more inclusive of people with disabilities.
The day was made even more meaningful because two CIS participants—Anthony and Frank—were featured for their success at work.
Anthony shared his journey from a job at Pizza Hut to art-world stardom (his work is collected internationally and has been exhibited at prestigious venues like the Outsider Art Fair!), while Frank told attendees about the community and purpose he’s found through his full-time job at Kalan LP, where he’s become known in his own right for his artistic talents.
Thanks to Networks for putting on such a great event, and join us in congratulating Anthony and Frank for their success at work.
