Move over, Spider-Man: Steven is adding his own creations to the comic pantheon, as he prepares to release Battle Fighters #2, the latest installment in his comic book series featuring Super Duck and The Hare.

Steven is an immensely talented comic book artist, and often makes his work at CIS’ Art Works studio. He got his start when he was only eleven years old, after watching the Spider-Man series on TV.

“After that, my mom started buying me Spider-Man comics,” Steven told us. “Then I started collecting Deadpool and Sonic. I thought, ‘These books are great, I want to do my own.’”

Twenty years later, and what began as a seed of inspiration has blossomed into an entire creative universe, with Steven’s unforgettable superheroes at its center. He’s published six books featuring Super Duck and The Hare (available at https://random-select-comics.square.site/) and an accompanying line of posters and sweatshirts.

The coming months will be exciting ones. Steven will launch the new comic book, and plans to return to the Art Works studio, where he hasn’t been since the start of the pandemic.

“It’ll be my ‘epic return,’ as we’ve been calling it,” Steven Joked. “It’s fun getting involved in my work, in these stories,” he added. “I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

We wouldn’t either. Check out Steven’s amazing work at https://random-select-comics.square.site/, and give him a follow on Instagram at @random_select_comics.
