As part of our year-long celebration of CIS’ 30 years spent building a more inclusive workforce, we’re shining a light on some of the businesses who have been champions of that effort.  

Today we want to give a big shout-out to Crunch Fitness in Bensalem. Last summer, CIS participant Steven was hired to join their team, and has done a great job on the Buildings and Grounds crew. A couple months later, Gilberto was hired at Crunch Fitness as well. 

Steven and Gilberto have thrived in their roles there,, and both have said how well supported they feel at Crunch. And the feeling is mutual: “I am so thankful for Gilberto and Steven,” said Alyssa, a manager at Crunch Bensalem. “Their support and detailed attention to our gym is always recognized, not only by the team here but also by the members. Not a day goes by that I don’t realize how much of a support and help they both are.”   

Just like Steven and Gilberto, we’re proud to say that “we love Crunch,” and the way it its supportive, empowering work environment has given Steven and Gilberto the tools to take their success to ever higher levels.
