Here come the champions! This past weekend, two of our participants competed in the Special Olympics annual Philadelphia Spring Games, held at the William Penn Charter School. Pictured here are Abdul and Kentu, who both are flashing medals awarded at the event. 

Not only are Abdul and Kentu tremendous athletes, but both excel in the workplace as well. You may recognize Kentu from a previous employer spotlight we shared on Weavers Way Co-Op, where he has been an employee for 13 years. Abdul’s story is very cool as well: he started working at CIS in 2018 and has been a big asset to our administrative team ever since. He’s pictured here with Sarah Bloomquist from 6 ABC Action News. A big congratulations to Kentu and Abdul for competing! Cheers!
