Semaj is Recongized at Please Touch Museum for #NDEAM

by | Oct 17, 2024 | NDEAM

NDEAM is all about celebrating Great Jobs for All, so give it up for Semaj, who found a great position at Philly’s iconic Please Touch Museum.

Semaj was hired in July, but he’s quickly become a veteran presence, flashing his personality as he helps customers with questions and using the cash register swiftly and with ease.

We had a chance to catch up with CIS Employment Trainer, Katrina Shuptar, who recently supported Semaj at the Please Touch Museum and shared some insight about Semaj’s work thus far. “He’s doing great in his job at the cash register, and beautifully bags merchandise for customers. It’s been a great fit.”

As we continue our celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (#ndeam), we’re happy to see Semaj in a sustaining job with a great local employer.

Congratulations, Semaj! Keep up the excellent work.
