Simon provides valuable support to the operations of First State Manufacturing, a busy manufacturing plant in Milford, DE. He began working at FSM in 2016, performing mostly maintenance and cleaning tasks. After learning a multitude of new skills and taking on additional tasks, he was recently promoted to Production Assistant and increased his work hours. His contributions highly valued by his team, Simon tells us that he has learned a lot from his coworkers, and is always working towards more responsibility and independence.
“I’ve learned many new things this past year. I even faced one of my biggest fears by learning how to use the hot knife. Bobby taught me how to safely use it, and JC guided me through every step. Now I’m able to cut bungi cord whenever I’m needed.”
