Last week was a special one for Devin in Delaware. On Monday evening, a representative from the Special Olympics surprised her at her job at ACME Rehoboth to invite her to compete for Team Delaware in bowling at the 2022 Special Olympics Games in Orlando, Florida.

Flanked by family and coworkers, Devin was presented with flowers, a poster, and her official invitation to be a part of Team Delaware in 2022. This won’t be Devin’s first rodeo: she’s been rolling strikes and turning heads at bowling alleys since she was in her teens, and has twice represented Pennsylvania in bowling at Nationals. A recent transplant to Sussex County, she’s now excited to bring her talents to Team Delaware.

When she’s not at the bowling alley, Devin works in the deli at ACME. She’s nearing one year in her role there, and has become a backbone on the back-end team.
