There’s nothing like a day of relaxing and bonding with friends, and our Project Career Launch (PCL) students embraced the art of “chill” this past weekend! The group gathered at the Fashion District to watch the new Sonic movie, a fantastic way to build strong relationships both inside and outside the classroom.
Beth Flaugher, our Manager of Project Career Launch, had a great thing to say about our PCL students:
“Great job to Mr. Handelman, Ms. Stephens and Steve for encouraging communication, socialization, and outings outside of the program. Seeing this brings me so much joy!”
While our student-to-work transition programs are focused on preparing District students with disabilities for the transition from school to employment, we also emphasize the importance of social outings like this to further relationships between our students.
Thanks, Beth, for sending this photo over—looks like a fantastic time was had by all!
