People are saying one of our Project Career Launch students, Joseph, is “outstanding,” and we couldn’t agree more. Joseph recently received an “Outstanding Customer Service Award” from ShopRite, where he’s been a massive asset to his team and the customers since his start date.

At Shoprite, some of his responsibilities are making food orders and keeping food stations clean between orders. Customers have remarked what a great job he’s doing, leading him to receive his recent award 🥳.

When stopped to say hi to him, one of the customers told us,

“Joseph was very kind and made sure that the area was clean before ringing up my order. He was very friendly and helpful. Please give this young man a raise.”

Joseph’s success at work shines a light on the success of our student-to-work transition programs, which equip young adults like Joseph with the skills they need to find and thrive in employment. We are so proud of Joseph for implementing some of the tips he learned in our Project Career Launch program and to see him finding success at work.
