Have you ever wondered who keeps your store-bought plants and flowers looking so good before you bring them to your home? Meet Nic, garden-care extraordinaire at Lowe’s in Brookhaven.

Hired in May, Nic brings a green thumb to his job in the Garden Center. We recently caught up with him, and found him hard at work, making his way along the aisle of perennials, taking care to give each one the water it needed, before heading over to give some attention to the pots of hanging roses.

Given his skill at garden care, it will come as no surprise that he’s been described as a “breath of fresh air” around Lowe’s for his good spirits, his hard work, and the joy he takes at excelling at his job.

Way to go Nic! Join us as we congratulate him on a great first month at the Garden Center, and check out more stories from our blog to learn how CIS works for people with disabilities.
