Today, we honor the life and work of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, and celebrate his extraordinary legacy. We remember his tireless efforts to end systemic racial discrimination in this country, even as that struggle continues today.
Dr. King’s vision for a nation and a world in which we all stand beside one another as equals is at the heart of our own mission. It guides our work to support people with disabilities and advocate for their right to equal access, living wages, and meaningful, sustaining employment.
On this day of remembrance, we look ahead with hopefulness, remembering Dr. King’s affirmation that “the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.”
