We are so charmed today to share this story about Mark, who’s celebrating four years in his job at 1776 Steakhouse in Rehoboth, Delaware!

Mark was tapped to join the team back in 2017, and it’s been a perfect fit. He loves his job, and he’s beloved by 1776 owners and staff. Mark is part of the kitchen team, where he’s known for his excellent work and his infectious good energy. He’s a jack of all trades, doing dishes, breaking down boxes (“it’s like going to the gym!” Mark said), and doing whatever needs to be done to keep the back-end running like clockwork.   

In a sure sign of having found just the right job, Mark tells us the last four years have passed like a breeze. On a recent evening, he slowed down for a minute to celebrate the awesome achievement of four years at 1776, and we took the opportunity to get some pictures. Here he is with chef and co-owner Tammy, and with co-owner Tom and Mark’s coworker Danielle.
