This spring, CIS Director of Business Development Erin Phovilaychit was invited to be a part of Drexel Autism Institute’s “Inclusive Workforce Video Series” for a conversation on how the pandemic is impacting employment for people with disabilities.

The innovative video series brings in leaders working at the forefront of inclusive employment, and was launched to generate dialogue on how to ensure people with disabilities are included in economic recovery efforts in the months and years ahead.

Erin has been outstanding throughout the pandemic, matching our participants with jobs in local businesses, and her interview addresses current and key issues, like how businesses can be proactive about creating a diverse and inclusive workforce, and the many benefits of hiring the talented and hardworking people we support.

Check out the video above for Erin’s full interview, and many thanks to Dianne Malley, director of Drexel’s Life Course Outcomes’ Transition Pathways initiative, for inviting us to be a part of this important series.
