As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, we’re highlighting some of the incredible people we support. We recently caught up with Josh, who’s excelled as an Administrative Assistant for Newtown Township (in Delaware County), where he sets up meetings, helps organize the office, and does important data work scanning and filing Township files.

Here he is in his own words, telling us about his work: “My job can be hard work, but I love being helpful to the staff who work at the office and getting a lot done there, and that is what makes me happy. CIS has helped my family to know what benefits I can receive and how to prepare the ISP that supports me.

My CIS coaches have helped me grow and get better at my job. I like getting to know the coaches and talking with them, and I’ve become good friends with some of them. I like that they ask me questions to get to know what I want to be better at, and that they congratulate me on the ways I’ve grown and the areas I’m strong in.”

Here’s Josh pictured at work pre-pandemic, and at home with friends and family. Congrats to Josh as he nears six years (!) on the job at the Newtown Township!
