It’s a special thing in life to commit yourself to something you love: that’s why we’re celebrating Jonah, who’s been working at Thomas Jefferson University for over 25 years.

Hired in 1995, Jonah’s been in the IT Department since day 1, doing administrative and clerical work in the Computer Library and lending his expert eye to a range of tasks. He told us he could never have predicted he’d still be at Jefferson a quarter century after being hired, but it’s been such a good fit he never had a thought to work anywhere else.

Forced to take a leave of absence during the pandemic, Jonah wasn’t sure he’d ever return to Jefferson. But as the school re-opened, he received a call inviting him to come back to work.Nearly two months back and he’s as happy as ever, mastering the ins and outs of a new IT role.

In his new position, he keeps track of tech needs across various departments, and delivers tech supplies throughout the University. We are so proud of Jonah’s steady and steadfast commitment to his work. Congrats on 25 years at Jefferson!
