In a rollercoaster month for regional sports teams, an unequivocal high was seeing Jessica celebrate the bronze medal she won at the Delaware Special Olympics Fall Sports Festival. Jessica competed with the Kent Wild Kats bocce ball team, helping them to a big win in the contest for bronze.

Jessica’s work ethic and commitment to anything she sets her mind to is what sets her apart on the playing field, and she brings that same spirit to her life off the pitch. She works two different jobs—at Old Navy and Mainstay Hotel Suites—and is finding fulfillment and community in both.

Before her shift at Mainstay last Monday, Jessica showed us her medal, and gave us the play by play on the weekend’s victory. We’re so glad to see her finding success both on and off the field!
