Spring is in the air, and CIS participant Jeff is helping ring it in at a local ACME, where he works on the Grounds Team.

Jeff is coming up on his one-year anniversary at the job, and when we stopped by recently he took a minute to reflect on his first year there.

“Things are going really well!” he told us, and added, “I love this job,” and then was quickly back to work, returning a receipt to a shopper who had accidentally left it in her cart.

We are so proud of Jeff for a great first year at work, and if you stop by ACME he just may be the one to give you a hand loading your car with those armfuls of spring flowers.

Congrats to Jeff, and thanks to CIS’s Katrina Shuptar for the great photo.

And for all you jobseekers out there, we’re always looking for new people to join our team. Join CIS and make a positive difference in the community—learn more at our Careers page!
