At CIS, we take pride in helping young adults with disabilities get the tools to obtain they need to begin the career of their choice!

Our three student-to-work transition programs—Project Career Launch (PCL), Project SEARCH, and Project Career Build—have enabled hundreds of students to explore careers, develop job skills, and make meaningful community connections as they transition seamlessly from school to work.

One of our PCL students, Jani, is a great example of that: a former PCL participant, Jani is coming up on nearly a year of employment at Aramark in one of Temple University’s dining halls. You might first remember Jani for his participation in the 2022-2023 cohort of Project Career Launch, where he prepared for Aramark hiring events by practicing interview etiquette and resume building.

We are so proud of Jani and of all the students in our Transition programs. We also thank all our facilitators who do so much to make sure our students are supported and ready to start exciting new careers after they graduate.
