Join us in congratulating our man Grant, who was recently named Employee of the Month for the outstanding job he’s doing on the Dining Team at the Terrace at Chestnut Hill.

The Terrace is a retirement community housed in a historic mansion in Philly’s Chestnut Hill neighborhood. Grant started at the Terrace in December, and he’s already stood out for his hard work, his kindness, and his attentiveness to Terrace residents.  “Grant has been a great addition to our team,” said Crystal Cesari, Executive Director at the Terrace. “He is eager to learn so that he may do more independently. He is always polite, and he leads by example with his ‘Can Do’ approach.”

Grant’s just six months in, but he already feels like a veteran in the dining room, where he helps set up tables for meals. He’s also a key hinge between the kitchen team and Terrace residents, bringing out dishes and ensuring everyone has what they need.  

Katrina, a CIS Job Coach who’s done a great job supporting Grant, told us he has great attention to detail, and that he’s learning new tasks and becoming more independent.

“I have personally had the opportunity to work with Grant in the dining room,” added Crystal, Grant’s Manager. “It is a pleasure to work with him.”
