Big cheers to our Project SEARCH programs at Drexel University and the Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT), who each received an Excellent Outcomes Award at this year’s Project SEARCH awards ceremony!

The annual awards are given to PS programs in which 70% of participants find paid, competitive employment of at least 16 hours per week at the prevailing wage. Behind the numbers are the real-life people (like Rahmeek, pictured) whose hard work is what these awards really celebrate.

Rahmeek was hired at Marshalls in September 2020. He began working independently on day one, with natural supports in the workplace helping him achieve a comfortable job entry and learn the responsibilities of his position.

“He’s been a rockstar,” said Paul Barth, Manager of Project SEARCH Programs at CIS. “He has such a great attitude and work ethic, and we are thrilled with his success.”

We are so proud of Rahmeek and his fellow Project SEARCH graduates at Drexel and DelDOT. Each year, our Project SEARCH programs in Pennsylvania and Delaware help launch students like them into great careers.
