Recently, our Director of Operations, Kelly Carrol, and Director of Employment Services, Melissa Good, had the fantastic opportunity to attend the 2024 Everyday Lives Conference in Hershey, PA!

The Everyday Lives Conference is a training conference hosted by the Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) to empower people with disabilities. The conference was held in person this year after a two-year virtual format.

Many direct support professionals and providers attended and received training in providing support and wellness to people with disabilities. There were some special guests in attendance, too: Dani Bowman—a star on the hit Netflix show “Love on the Spectrum” and the creator of Danimation— presented at the conference, and can be seen in picture 1 (center) between Kelly and Melissa!

After an educational and informative couple of days, the final night of the conference was filled with laughter and dancing, and included familiar faces like Mary (a CIS participant), and Bill Krebs, Advocacy Coordinator at Keystone Human Services and a former CIS employee. The conference was a blast, and we were so glad to be a part of it!
