Hit that like button forMelissa, who this weekend will be celebrating two years in her job at a local YMCA.

Our goal is always to help the people we support become as independent as possible, and Melissa has taken great strides since she first started at the Y. She started out receiving on-site support for all of her shifts, but has grown so independent that she’ll be moving to once-a-week checks beginning!

We’ve seen firsthand how she’s blossomed in this role, and we’re not the only ones: Melissa was awarded Employee of the Month for January, and has become confident and independent as a result of her amazing coaching team and natural supports at the Y. 

Congratulations, Melissa; you’re doing an incredible job!
