We are so proud to announce that our own Diana Hochner was honored with a 2021 Points of Transformation Award by Philadelphia’s Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services!  

The annual awards celebrate direct support professionals who have devoted their careers to helping support people with intellectual disabilities or autism. Diana received the “Employment 1st, Employment Now Award of Excellence” in recognition of her outstanding work helping CIS participants become fully integrated in workplaces across Philadelphia.

This year’s theme was “All About Community,” which Diana embodies in her role as Manager of Student Transition Services. Not only does she help participants feel at home and at ease in their work community, but she’s also been an exceptional mentor to her team of employment coaches, setting a great example through her own work and commitment.

Huge congrats to Diana on receiving this important award—we are so lucky to have her be a part of CIS!
