From Philadelphia to Delaware, the support never stops! Check out two of our participants, Dewayne and Mary, who both work at the Center at Eden Hill. 

Dewayne is a former Project SEARCH Intern who was initially offered part-time employment as a dishwasher at Eden Hill, as a dishwasher. 

“Dewayne is such a kindhearted person that loves to help others,” said Brandi, his Case Manager at CIS. With his positive attitude and driven work ethic, Dewayne was soon offered full-time employment. Fast forward 4 years later, and he is still proving to be a great asset. Not only does he work in the dish room, but he also helps kitchen staff with prep-work and tray setups.  

Dewayne’s success has helped pave the way for other participants to work at Eden Hill.

Mary (picture 2) was hired in January as a Dietary Aide, and she couldn’t be more elated to work there. In addition to food prep, she enjoys running food to patients, and having a laugh with Dewayne and other coworkers. It’s rare that we get two participants who work together, so we couldn’t pass up this chance to celebrate them. Congrats to both Dewayne and Mary, and thank you to the Center at Eden Hill for employing two fantastic workers!
