Last week rocked for CIS student participants in Delaware, many of whom attended the Mission Possible Conference, put on by CIS and the Caesar Rodney School District 📙.

The event connected students with disabilities to hands-on workshops and information sessions where students got to explore exciting career options with different local employers.

From sessions led by architects at StudioJAED to engaging lessons in Agriscience, Digital Media, and Automotive Care, participating students got to learn, laugh, and get their hands a little dirty as they dove into fun future job possibilities.

A big shoutout to the day’s Keynote Speaker John S. (a Caesar Rodney graduate who now works at the Delaware Department of Transportation) and a big thanks to our partners at CR Countywide Programs, the John S. Charlton School, Scott Saxon of the Harrington Raceway and Casino who led a great opening session, and Phil Conte & Brian Zigmond at StudioJAED. Big thanks, too, to Caesar Rodney High School teachers Elise Knable, Mark Breeding, and Harry Richards for their outstanding sessions with the students, and to CR Countywide Programs for the great photos from a great day.
