Smash that like button for our 2023-2024 Project SEARCH and Project Career Launch cohorts!

On Tuesday, these amazing students gathered with family and friends for their year-end ceremony, where they received their certificates of completion. The groundbreaking Project SEARCH and Project Career Launch programs help Philadelphia students with disabilities make a successful transition from school to employment.

Check out the fantastic video below (made by our own Paul Barth, Manager of Project SEARCH Programs), which beautifully captures a year in the life of these students as they explored different career paths, got hands-on work experience, made new friends, and had a lot of fun along the way.

A big thanks to our program partners: Transition Pathways of Autism Life Course Outcomes Research at AJ Drexel Autism Institute, The School District of Philadelphia, the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual disAbility Services (DBHIDS), The Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, Community College of Philadelphia, Drexel University, Philadelphia Works, and all our participating business partners.

And thanks most of all to the employees of CIS, Transition Pathways, the School District of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Works who are the beating heart of these programs.

It was a beautiful, moving celebration, and we can’t wait to see what these outstanding students go on to achieve!
