October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month!  

NDEAM is a celebration of America’s workers with disabilities, and the tremendous contributions they make in the workforce. This year’s theme is America’s Recovery: Powered by Inclusion.  

All month long, we’ll be sharing stories of CIS participants—grocery store clerks and administrative professionals, customer service associates and food service specialists at work in schools across the city—who are helping businesses and communities build back stronger.  

Stay tuned to our social media pages as we take this month to celebrate our participants’ work, highlight local business partners, and shine a light on why access and inclusion for people with disabilities in the workplace is crucial to an equitable recovery.
