Happy October everyone! It’s grey, it’s crisp, it’s festive, and it’s National Disability Employment Awareness Month!

#NDEAM is a celebration of people with disabilities in the workforce, and the tremendous contributions they make at their jobs. It’s also a time to reflect on how we can do even better in building diverse and equitable workspaces where everyone feels seen and supported. We’re excited to see that emphasized in this year’s theme, which forefronts disability as part of the equity equation.

All month long we’ll be sharing stories of CIS participants and the positive impact they’re making in schools, businesses, and organizations throughout the region. Stay tuned to our page as we celebrate our participants, highlight local business partners, and shine a light on why access and inclusion for people with disabilities are vital to equitable workplaces.
