If you were keeping up with our story on Friday, you know we had a total blast celebrating seven years of success for our Philly-based Project SEARCH and Project Career Launch (PCL) programs.

These groundbreaking programs help Philadelphia students with disabilities make a successful transition from school to employment.

It was a full house at Drexel University of the breakfast and awards ceremony: over 300 people came to celebrate, including more than 100 current and former SEARCH and PCL participants, their friends and family, and the program staff and program partners that make these programs so outstanding.

Our deep gratitude goes to the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services whose funding support made this event possible, and we want to congratulate this year’s Pathways to Employment Partnership Award recipients— PA’s Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, DBHIDS, Philadelphia School District, Community College of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Works, who received their awards at Friday’s ceremony.
