Check out these great pictures from our team in Delaware, who showed up huge for the Boardwalk Buddy Walk at Rehoboth Beach two weeks ago!

The Buddy Walk is a one-mile walk to benefit research, education, and family support for those with Down syndrome, and it’s been a yearly event since 2006. Making it even more special is the fact that it was created by the owners of Uncle David’s Ice Cream, a local champion of people with disabilities and a truly standout employer partner to CIS.

There was a great turnout—nearly 1200 people!–and CIS staff members Kim Dubose, Amy Blewitt, and Kelsey Hitchens (all pictured in image 2) were part of the crowd. To top things off, Uncle David’s team served about 400 cups of ice cream! Everyone had a blast, including Connor (photos 1 and 3) who brings great energy to every occasion.
