We don’t use the phrase “dream job” lightly, but that’s just what Brittany’s found in her position at a local Montessori school. Brittany was hired back in September, and since then has been doing what she’s always hoped to—being a teacher, and filling her days working with infants and kids ranging in age from two to six.

Brittany has always loved working with children. Before the pandemic, she was employed at Pump It Up in Springfield, a play-place for kids and a popular spot for children’s birthday parties. She thrived in her job there until the location was forced to close its doors in March 2020.

Fast-forward to this fall, and Brittany was ready to get back to work. She was hired at Montessori in September, and it’s been a better fit than she could’ve even imagined. She’s smart, kind, engaging, and really has a way with kids, and her great work has paid off: In November, the school offered her a full-time role. She accepted, and is now a full-time teacher at her school.    

We couldn’t be happier for Brittany. She checked in recently to say she loves her team, loves the kids, and loves her position. It was the kind of call that filled us with pride, and reminds us why we love what we do.
