The CIS logo accompanied by three photos of Brandon, a white man in his 20s. Two photos show him in a blue shirt at the edge of the soccer field at Subaru Park, sitting in a wheelchair by himself in one photo, and surrounded by the guest services team in the other. The third photo shows him as a child, standing with a walker on a gymnasium floor

With the crowds back in droves to cheer on the Philadelphia Union, a familiar face is helping fans find their seats at the Suite level of Subaru Park. That’s where you can find Brandon, who’s thrilled to be back in his job on the Guest Services team.

Brandon’s been playing soccer since he was little, so working the Union games is a dream come true. He was first hired in 2019, and his veteran presence has helped make for a smooth transition back to full fan capacity at Subaru Park. “Brandon is an important member of our Guest Services team here at Subaru Park,” said Emily, Brandon’s supervisor. “Every game he works, he shows up with the most positive and vibrant attitude. Everyone on the team is so happy to see him (including the Union fans)! Game days are better with him around!”

Before the Union took the field last week, Brandon was the center of attention, as his Guest Services teammates gathered around to sing him happy birthday. Brandon’s big day brought some magic to the Union, too: they won 2-1, which meant he got to join in twice for the joyous “Doop Doop” chant that follows every Union goal.

We are so proud of Brandon, who has found a great role with his favorite team.
