April is Autism Awareness Month, and as it comes to a close we wanted to share this photo of Regina, pictured here at the school where she works during their Autism Awareness celebration 🧩.

Regina first connected with CIS in 2018. She had an interest in dining and food service work, and she was hired in a Dining Services role at the Philadelphia School District. She was assigned to a local elementary school, and has been working there ever since. She loves her job, and will be celebrating her five year anniversary there come September 💚!

Just last week, Regina was spotted behind a colorful balloon-filled table during the National Autism Month Celebration hosted by the school where she works.

As we close out this important month, we’re proud of individuals like Regina who are finding independence and meaning in their work, and glad to do our small part in helping raise awareness about individuals with autism and the profound contributions they make each day at work and in their communities.
