We’re so excited to see CIS participant Annie spotlighted by Wild Hand, an amazing local store and community space that brings people together around a love of fiber craft!

Annie graduated from a local college with a BA in Studio Art, and wanted to get some hands-on experience in a job related to her degree. That’s where Wild Hand came in: they offered her an internship at the store, where she’s getting great experience (and learning a ton!) in a fun and supportive work environment. 

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), and it’s employers like Wild Hand who help ensure “Good Jobs for All” by creating a work environment where everyone can thrive.
