And the Safest Driver badge goes to…Did you guess it? That’s right—Alexis!

One of our fantastic participants, Alexis, was surprised at work when she received a badge for Safest Driver at a local Advanced Autoparts store in Delaware.

Alexis won this badge for her commitment to safely driving and delivering equipment on the road, and being accident-free since she started in 2021.

Not only did Alexis receive a badge for being the safest driver, but she is also celebrating her third work anniversary as a delivery driver, a great way to hit two birds with one stone. In a month where we’re celebrating “Good Jobs for All” as part of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, we’re thrilled to see Alexis thriving in a job she loves.

Thanks so much to CIS Employment Training Specialist Joshua Pennington for sharing this story of Alexis, and congratulations to Alexis—keep up the great work!
