In what certainly makes the top 10 of our Cool Jobs list, we’re celebrating Nate today and his role as Big Bird at Sesame Place.

To Nate, being Big Bird is a big responsibility. Growing up, he was a frequent visitor to the Sesame Street-themed park, attending as often as he could with his cousin. It’s always been a place of wonder and excitement for him, and now he gets to play a big part in bringing that wonder to others.

In just his third month at Sesame Place, Nate is doing a truly outstanding job. One of the park’s big attractions are the meet and greets that park visitors get to have with the Sesame Street characters. As Big Bird, Nate makes their day, bringing big smiles to families visiting the park.

“I feel good when I do these things,” said Nate. “I’ve loved sesame place ever since I was young, and now I get to work here.”

We are honestly so proud of Nate, and happy for the joy he’s found in his role at Sesame Place, where each day he gets to put on the Big Bird suit and take flight.
