After 31 days of celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month (#ndeam) we have officially come to a close.

This year’s theme, “Access to Good Jobs for All,” has highlighted the need for everyone, including workers with disabilities, to have access to fulfilling and sustainable jobs all year round.

Each weekday this month, we have shared a success story of our participants working a “good job” which can mean a multitude of things, but with the importance being on a job of their choosing with good wages in a supportive environment. At CIS, we’re committed to supporting our participants in achieving employment that’s meaningful to them, with personalized employment plans designed to maximize their success.
