What a truly amazing time we had on Tuesday at Mission Possible, the end-of-year event for CIS-supported students from CR Countywide Programs.

The event brought together participating students with local employers for a series of informative, hands-on sessions where students got to explore different career possibilities with each of those employers.

Sessions were led by our amazing partners at the Delaware Department of Transportation, Lewes Oyster House, Under Armour of Rehoboth Beach, and Rigby’s Pool Services. Along the way, students got to learn, laugh, and get their hands a little dirty as they dove into fun future job possibilities.

A huge thanks to Delaware State University for hosting this amazing event; to Surf Bagel for the delicious food that kept everyone going; and to the Caesar Rodney School District for their continued support and outstanding partnership.

Most of all, give it up for all the participating students for whom Tuesday was a fitting end to a year that saw them get hands-on work experience at a variety of businesses, and that left them better prepared than ever for their future careers!
